Leo's mini diary book

Hello ...

It's me again and I have a little something to share for you :)
I just love one image from the latest Zodiac collection - Leo !!
How cute she is with the cutest tail and her hair .. just gorgeous wild! I Loveee her!

and today I made a little diary book for Leo ;)

not too thick book but it was so cute to write some words from the sweet Leo journey ;)

here is the front look .. simple design with only card stock no design paper this time, just masking some washed color with chalk and distress ink.

white papers inside to write the notes, binding all together and tied with organza on a cinnamon stick.

Here is my cute Leo Tilda :)
I do not put lots of embellishment here but I did some fun artsy though ..
I cut some pieces of water color paper with DH - Heart Swirl and then I cut them randomly, glue it on the oval edge, because they come from the same paper so they turn become faux embossed. The edge inked with several color and ending with walnut stain. I use aged taupe from Stampendous to make gorge effect and not forget .. Ancient - African Gold embossing powder from Ranger because I love them more glittering, blink and shine ;)
the only one decoration on the book is a cute mushroom!! the mushroom comes from cork sheet that I cut with DH - Mushroom kit from Lost and Found 2014

I've been busy for lots in the real life

I tell you the truth, I am not good with Red .. just want to take a try I went to red color with Ribbon Dance Tilda - Little Circus Moscow 2013

I've got Magnolia beautiful paper, and to match with it I dyed the ribbon with Distress ink Red Brick.

Bark Butterfly is from Prima Marketing, Script stamp is KCK

Using several dies ; Lifestyle nesting, DooHickeys, Paper trey Ink

White painting with gesso and glittering with Crystal stickles

I used no basic colors with my distress ink but mixed 2 color for Tilda's cloth and her hanging ribbon.

Tilda's cloth : Bundled Sage and Frayed Burlap

Red Ribbon : Red Brick and Brushed Corduroy

Friends - Gemini Zodiac

Hello my dear fellows ..
Today I would love to share about my fun coloring time few days ago, It was so much exciting when I've got some of Zodiac collection from Magnolia and it likes got some toys yay!! .. he he

Before I'll go with my own Zodiac (Big Thanks to Magnolia, they allowed me to have my sign and also my mother sign too !) I picked the Gemini .. I am happy to say that this image could fit in all occasion not just for birthday event .. they could use for friendship, prompt celebration, tweenies anniversary and so on ..

But no card yet for today .. ho ho don't be disappointed :)

I will show you to create a shabby chic flowers motif on Tilda's dress ..
here it is,

Before I go with the coloring, first I would love to share about the new ink pad that I used. That was a dye ink from Simon Says Stamp and I found it have no smear with my water coloring, I stamped on Bockingford water color paper that has a rough surface and it works good! will think to take a chance with smooth surface later soon.

Okay, for the coloring .. as usual I love to paint with distress ink refill that was also I did for my image, except .. the peachy flower on the dresses and grass flower.

Nothing special on my way when I painted, just on this case I took a bit of color direct from the gelatos and paint on the image, clean my brush and blending it out, just it.

I had so much fun to do this, because whenever I saw Tilda using a dress with plain fabric I really want she use some patterned fabric or may be one day she will using Batik :)

You also can use paper piecing technique but for me .. this way I choose because I am not good with the fussy cutting LoL ..

a Delight Hello ..

Hello and good day everyone!

Today I have a card to share, and this moment my mates at MDUC has celebrate the 5th years old of the challenge .. in other way, we are so ready for the Spring (or may be some of you already on it) and the Spring brings us some delight with the blooms somewhere .. how nice!

so, this is my card for you to enjoy ..

My card comes with Tilda and her bunny from Special moment 2013, she was colored with distress ink on a water color paper piece from arches 

Closer looks, there are some yummy things .. Beautiful papers are Magnolia paper, I made my air dry clay bunny with cookies mold, Die cut I used are Go Create, Spellbinder and of course DooHickey  :) Flowers are carious Prima marketing and I am Roses. Cutest button is from SU!

Fabrics also used, the beautiful pink lace is my last piece.. because I am happy to sending other piece to my dear teammie ;) gorgeous white feather I found on my stash and love the May Art twine to give an accent on the tags.

I would love to playing around Magnolia Mania - Animal (bunny)

Dear teachers ...

Hi!

It's nice to see you again my lovely readers ..

Today posting is about thankful :)

I got some new stamps from Magnolia and of course their latest release - Zodiac collection is too cute .. I took a Capricorn and coloring him for a few pieces.

Then I thought .. I choose the Capricorn but I don't want to make any birthday theme with them on this March .. :D nah, what should I make then ??

Finally I got a word knocked on my head .. 

so, I made a set little gifts for teacher ..

Here I show you one by one of my set,

First, a little cookies wrap!

it's easy to do, just take a paper with  6" x 8.5" , score at the 4", 8" on the long side and score at 0.5" on the short side, dies a circle on the center of one side and make a pocket. using DooHickey Spring Flower Border cut the edge.

I glued a piece of tracing paper on the circle window.

The second one is a chocolate tiny bag :)

Actually it was super fun to do with my old dies called Top Note die from Stampin'Up! but you can use any brand that have similar shape. After I cut the paper then I fold it like the picture show just it!

Next step only decorate it and make a sling on to have a mini purse model. I put the wrapped chocolate ball and I love to use simple sentiment from my old Stampendous stamp.

and the last is a very simple tag with oval shape ..

Teacher never expect anything in return from their students but a little thing given by their student is the most precious gift they ever had .. are you agree ??

you might have a same feeling with me about a person called teacher .., they are like a guiding star that we had sometimes forget .. but they had made us knowing about many things in this world :)

To all teachers in the world, Thank you SO much!!

Hope you will get some inspiration from my work, as you will see all the 12 Zodiacs release in one time but you don't have to wait until the month of each Zodiac to create something :)

Butterflies ..

Hello my dear readers ..

I am so sorry for being MIA some times, there are may things to do in my real world 

but I am back today with a card with lovely butterflies ...

This card also for mid challenge reminder at MDUC so I hope you can stop over on MDUC blog too and join the fun with us :)

from some Magnolia images that have butterfly, she is still on my top list. I love love love her at the time she released but I still love her until today and I think I can't forget her with her cutie look.
