Box of Love

Hi guys!!

Me again, see you on here :)
Today I wanna show you a thin box envelope that I called Box of Love! and I want to let you know that MDUC still going on with the theme Dies Only so I hope my box will give you an inspiration.

Oh I have to tell you that my work today inspired a lot from my dear friend Debbie's art work! you should check her post here, because she has a very beautiful shabby place ever that inspired me.
.. I wish I could be her neighbor! I will bring this box when she host an afternoon date and will fill it with bags of tea so we can enjoy the afternoon tea together .. LoL

I use several DooHikey dies from Magnolia for decorated my box; they are Mini Doily, Peony petals and Leaves.

I show you details of my work for flowers and leaves bellow,

I took this photo on my yard, so hopefully it is more clearly to see.
First, I cut about 8 layers of tissue papers with the peony petal dies (small size) , spray them with mini mister and coloring the edges with distress ink, drying with heat tool and the curl made by my hand. once the petals dried, they are ready to arrange.
I put distress stickles - Spun Sugar some where on the edges.
oh yes, they were glued with PVA glue.

and these are the leaves :)
they are from Canson multi media paper, cut with DooHickey and after spray with water I color them with distress ink - Forest Moss using an aqua brush from ZIG
Each of the leave twisted with twister when they are still wet and let aside to dry. After they were drying carefully unfold each of the leaves, we will get the texture more than plain die cut.

more textures ....
I glue Magnolia design paper on my box card before decorate, and more steps did on there ..
Paint it with white gesso on some side rarely
Stamp Valentine Script (Magnolia stamp) with Early Espresso ink (Stampin' Up)
Using Heiddi Swapp mask doing a stencils fancy with white paste.
Paint the dried hearts using Distress crackle paint - Picket Fence
Stampendous Fragment - Rose and tied with May art string.

and this is the last,  the box pattern ..

I made my box with envelope punch board.
and this is the measurement :
paper is 7.25 x 7.25 inches
first steps punch and score at 2.75 inches and the second step punch and score at 3.75 inches
allow with another side until you get like the picture shown.
I  am so in love with box envelope more than regular one, because it can keep my flowers safe :)

okaaaay .....
that's all and hope you will enjoy my post today (with no images .. LoL)
and Thank you for stopping by!

Hugs and smiles,
Yulis
